Gamron Petro Industrial Complex (Public Joint Stock Company) was established on 03/07/2015 with the aim of playing the role of the private sector in the development of the country’s industry and economy, and was registered under the number 271755 in the Registry of Companies and Non-Commercial Institutions of Tehran.
This complex was started by creating economic, manufacturing and industrial enterprises in the petrochemical sector and by benefiting from the experiences of internal managers and experts, it designed and implemented the construction of downstream petrochemical factories in Hormozgan province and in 2013 License No. 25851/13 from the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade has been put into operation and the products have been produced.
This company is active in the downstream petrochemical industry and produces three products: formalin, hexamine and urea formaldehyde. The company’s products are among the most widely used products in the field of petrochemical base materials, which are used as raw materials in the production of many products such as adhesives and resins, plastic and rubber materials, and various industries such as polymer industries, pharmaceutical and laboratory industries.
In 2021, Gameroon Petro-Industry Complex succeeded in obtaining the Knowledge-Based Product Certificate for the semi-industrial scale process of silver catalyst regeneration.
This certificate is issued by the Iranian National Standards Organization in collaboration with the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, in order to support and assist knowledge-based companies.
The Knowledge-Based Product Standard (Danesh-Namad Certificate) can serve as an effective step towards commercialization and market entry of knowledge-based products, which is one of the main challenges these companies face.
The issuance of the Knowledge-Based Certificate of Product (KB-COP) allows a knowledge-based company to receive a valid certification for its product or service, even in the absence of a national standard, international accredited standards, or factory standards from the National Standards Organization. This certificate is also recognized in many countries worldwide.
